Get Wisdom
Proverbs 4:7 tells us that "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
My Sistas, you must feed your mind, because it will eventually starve if you fail to nourish it with the right knowledge and information. And without an "understanding" of that knowledge, your emotional, mental, and spiritual growth maybe severely hampered.
Pray for Wisdom and understanding in the name of Jesus!

Another Ten things to Remember
1 The most important things in your home are the people.
2 Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.
3. There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.
4. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.
5. He who dies with the most toys is still dead.
6. We do not remember days, but moments. Life moves too fast, so enjoy your precious moments.
7. Nothing is real to you until you experience it, otherwise it's just hearsay.
8. It's all right to sit on your pity pot every now and again. Just be sure to flush when you are done.
9. Surviving and living your life successfully requires courage. The goals and dreams you're seeking require courage and risk-taking. Learn from the turtle -- it only makes progress when it sticks out its neck.
10. Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is what you really are while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

5. When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.
6. Do the math. Count your blessings.

Simple
My Sistas,
Good morning, Lord Jesus. Before my day unfolds, I unfold my day before You. ...
"The unfolding of Your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple" (Psalm 119:130).
Help me simply come humbly before You -- seeking Your face, listening for Your voice, waiting for Your leading. Unfold Your words and Your will before me. Let Your light shine on the steps of the path You are setting before me this day. Let the sound of Your words in my spirit rise up into the thoughts in my mind. Then, by Your grace, throughout the encounters of my day, may I walk in Your wisdom, love with Your heart, and speak with the authority of one who has spent time in Your Presence. Help me be simple enough to get this one thing straight: "He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble His way" (Psalm 25:9). In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Just Show Up
”You are the light of the world…. let your light shine before men…” [Matthew 5:14-16]
Sooner or later in the life of every disciple the Holy Spirit will bring the lesson of—just show up!
Over the years I have known the awesome blessing of simply going and being where and when God directed me to be—the blessings are always greater then you can ask or imagine. The reward is the same whether it is a different nation, another city, around the corner or down the road —just showing up in obedience to the Spirit brings the blessing of the Father simply because you are walking in obedience and being—the light of the world!
Wherever you need to be today, listen to the Lord's leading and just show up, expect God to shine out for His Glory and He will--through you! Amen.

What Makes A Winner
My Sistas,
Genuine, lasting success is never an accident. It is the result of personal character.
Work with a purpose -
Winners have a sense of mission. They know where they are headed and have figured out how to get there. They are focused. They plan their work and work their plan.
"An intelligent man aims at wise actions, but a fool starts off in many directions."
Insist on Integrity -
Nothing lasts without integrity. Winners tell the truth. Then they don't have to worry about being caught in a lie.
"Dishonest gain will never last, so why take the risk?"
Never make excuses -
Winners never play the blame game. They accept responsibility for their mistakes. People who are good at making excuses are rarely good at much else.
"The lazy man is full of excuses."
Never stop learning -
All leaders are learners - the moment you stop learning, you stop leading. The dinosaurs became extinct because they couldn't adapt to a changing environment. Can you?
" The intelligent man is always open to new ideas - in fact, he looks for them."
Economize your time and energy -
We all have the same amount of time, but winners manage it better. They realize that time is more valuable than money. They work smarter, not harder.
"There is a right time and a right way to do everything."
Resolve to stick with it -
Winners don't know how to quit. They keep on "keeping on". They learn from their failures. Winners realize that discouragement is a choice.
You can get up and start over!!!

My First Row
My Sistas,
To all of my people I keep in the first row.
Life is a Theatre...Invite Your Audience Carefully...
Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives.
There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a DISTANCE.
It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships/friendships.
Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention. Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill? When you leave certain people do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know or appreciate you?
The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you...the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.
"If you cannot 'change' the people around you, CHANGE 'the people' around you". Remember that the people we hang with will have an impact on both our lives and our income. And so we must be careful to choose the people we hang out with, as well as the information with which we feed our minds. We should not share our dreams with negative people, nor feed them with negative thoughts.
TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE!
